What a Cajon Drum can mean to a youth ministry is:
- an inexpensive way to get a full drum sound without buying a kit
- an easy way to add a drum to a band if you don't have a real drummer
- a simple drum option for traveling (camp, mission trips)

  • Do you have to have long hair to play the cajon?

  • I have short hair and I don't play my cajon very well so I'd say yes.

  • very nice thanks!

  • Why does it have to be youth group this and youth group that?

  • Thumbs up of you were like one of those kida mentioned in the video c( :

  • wow this is really good thank u for posting

  • i want one.

  • You can also loosen the front plate or snare wires or both on most cajons. This one he plays does not sound very "snarey". Mine did sound like this until I loosened the front plate and the strings a little.

It now sounds a lot less poppy on the snare corners but just enough "buzz" to make it more kit like, but still has enough separation to not buzz on the bass notes.

Make an investment into your instrument. I play a Meinl BurlWood pickup cajon.. it's awesome!

  • wat cajon are u playin??

  • haha, an inexpensive way to get a full drum sound without buying a kid.

  • What cajon are you using in the video?
