@smegnose Likewise. Comparative mythology is one of the most fascinating topics to me. Why do we have such similarities over vast distances, time, and cultures? Are these themes deeply rooted in our consciousness and psyche? Did our common ancestors experience a single series of events that inspired all these myths? Or did something amazing happen on a global scale long ago? So intriguing...

It has always amazed me how every culture in history, had their version of a paradise city. Eden for the Middle easterners, Atlantis for Europeans, Shangri-la(Shambala) for Asians, Dream Times for Aboriginals, and El Dorado/Fountain of Youth of the Latin Americans. And they always had the same themes, live forever, perfection.
