Youtube doesn't have this. I couldn't find it anywhere until now. I've been looking for this for awhile now. I'm pretty sure some of you are thinking, "Where's this from, I've never seen this." Well it was from the Fox Kids version of Escaflowne when it aired. It only aired 9 episodes from the looks of it, hence why this opening was pretty much thrown away with the episodes they chopped up. It was said they cancelled it because it was too bloody for Fox Kids. Anyways, enjoy.

I forgot about this anime because I watched the first couple of episodes and then I got punished w/ no TV for a year. Young kid feigning insanity is not a good way to get out of vocab homework.

I'm 21 years and I still remember this opening and I still love this anime. It's one of the best shows I everwatched as a kid

Of all the anime I watched during this time, The Vision of Escaflowne was perhaps my favourite.

I'll fully admit that the story is as basic as kids show's get. And evil empire tries to take over the world and a group of young heroes has to stop them.

But what elevates this series is that this story is done perfectly. And as for the writing, talk about tight! Every episode, scene and frame of animation does exactly what it need to and then leaves.

No filler, just the neccessities.

Impressive.
