This is my 1991 Pontiac Firebird Formula. 54,000 orginal miles, 305v8 stock exhaust. I plan to put a new Borla exhaust system on complete with new headers, but for now I'm just enjoying it =)

Update:
Turns out the previous owner gave me the wrong build sheet. This is not a Formula, but a base Firebird with the V8 package and some extra electric goodies. I don't care, still in nice condition =)

  • Well it looks like no one expands the description section on any videos :-P

I just want to be clear that I know it's not a Formula but just a base model Firebird with a V8. When I bought it the guy had a few Firebirds and he gave me the wrong build sheet for the car. I noticed when the VIN's didn't match between the car and the sheet.

    Sorry for the confusion.

  • Very nice firebird but that ain't a formula. Formulas don't have ground effects and they'd have a bunch of formula decals all over the body along with a hood with a bulge in it. And was it just me or was that thing burning oil on startup? Hard to tell.

  • No it's not burning oil, it was just sitting for a while when i recorded the video so it was just some excess moisture.

  • How much did u pay for that. Mine costed 3200 but had about 100,000 miles on it?

  • I basically stole it from the guy, I only paid 5k

  • I live in Texas and have a 91 formula firebird I am selling. It's 100% stock and in excellent condition. I will have a video by this weekend. Hit me up with any offers.

  • when is a update video?

  • Hi there - nice Firebird. I am considering swapping my GTA with a 350 TPI for a smaller 305 TBI. I need to know just how much difference i'll feel in power and torque, When i put my foot down, will i still be able to spin the wheels???

  • it almost sounds dieselish. haha jealous man, nice find.

  • Love your car no t-tops? :(

  • @dante04srt yes sir youre right and the motor options included the lb9, l98, and I forget the rpo for the 305tbi. lo3? I had an 87 formula with the w66 rpo, the bulge hood and gta/ta/ wrap around spoiler, 16x8's and the ws6 suspension. It's nice to find other educated people on here.

  • Badass Firebird man and if I'm not mistaken the bodykit is part of the w68 package.

  • Oh, no disrespect thank's .

  • yeh, whatever....you are one of those 100% people. that is o.k.

  • @kinyaets No disrespect, but I am 100% correct about the information I provided. ALL 91-91 Firebirds & Formulas show Formula on the title (Google it), but that doesn't mean a Firebird is a Formula just because the title says so. Read what I've already posted here about what a Formula has, which this car (and probably yours) is not. If you still don't believe/understand, check your RPO/SPID sheet - All Formulas show W66 (Formy pkg). Educate yourself at 3rdgenformula . com
