  • i started listening to hole after nirvana, and as i dug deeper into this stuff. I realized that grunge was my home. Nothing gives me that same emotional feeling :]

  • @wallsofink ~Im sorry,.THIS IS NOT A NIRVANA SONG.period.

Courtney and Eric wrote this song in 1991,before she even started to hang out with Mr Cobain.

This song is featured as a B Side in Hole 3rd single Teenage Whore realeased in 1991.

Go talk shit somewhere else asshole. Kurt didnt wrote ANY of Hole songs at all. They covered Old Age,Penny Royal Tea an You know your Right.THATS IT.

  • grunge is raw its pure its meaning.its a way of life.

  • I gotta learn how to sing like that.. Really. Any suggestions?

  • I love this version most of all because of the guitar in it; it's more twangy and drony than in the other versions. Total opiate music. And her screaming in this version is better as well. That "watch me while I DROWN" line toward the end is incredible. The first 3/4 of song are repetitive and ghastly and it just builds to that crescendo at the end. She can growl like no other woman in rock.

  • @dickless32 ...Courtney wrote Pennyroyal Tea with Kurt. It's not really a cover.

  • @youknowyoureright91 You are so right! Before I found Nirvana and Hole, I was listening to mostly mainstream music like Lady Gaga and Kesha but then a friend told me about Nirvana and I was hooked, sooner or later I discovered Hole, then Pearl Jam, then Sonic Youth and a slew of other great bands. Now the only thing I listen to nowadays is grunge! I'm with you on that one! Grunge is my new home too! :)

  • @dickless32 but i might just delete ur comment,yes
