I liked Cruz in rent but at least in this video all three of them are sub par. I could have dealt with the overwhelmingly nasal quality, but the pitch issues are Really Really bad, this is why we see shows in NYC not LA

it's just a bad audio. if you listen to the rent videos they're even pitchy. the camera i had was horrible and it didn't record anything well

As much as you say this video doesn't do them justice, I still believe that Wilson Cruz is not right for this part. Andrew would have better luck as Mark in RENT, rather than as Jonathan.

actually I don't think that andrew would have been a good mark. andrew was amazing as jonathan . both times I saw the show about 90% of the audience was crying. when we went out to meet them everyone i ever went with was only able to get out a "thank you" while they were still crying

Well, I didn't see the original, but I DID see this production, and it was AMAZING! HPSJ85, you have to take into effect the fact that this is outside, no shell, and balancing that is hell. Did you see it at the Coronet ? Perfect theatre for the show!

I liked the first guy, the second guys vocals sounded well off. Shame the quiality of the sound was so bad... but i do love mr Larson

did you see them live? and why do you think that I think he's hot? I never said that, and I'm not being fangirly. I just really loved this cast and think that they're amazing. trust me, I'm nowhere near fangirly. and this video does not do them justice. they were so much better in person and the grove audio was bad as well. so is the feedback on my camera
