"Trio Ngoma" is a group of classical, traditional (and often unconventional) musicians who have come from far away lands to meet at the crossroads of Tallahassee, Florida. Vivianne Asturizaga has ridden her flute melodies down from the Andes mountains of La Paz, Bolivia as a master flute performance major at Florida State University. Ramin Yazdanpanah, didgeridoo and percussive sounds echo the Outback, the Silk Road, the Caribbean and his native Florida home. Emmanuel Pereira, a doctoral student of Ethnomusicology at Florida State University, stirs-up percussive traditions from Africa, Haiti, Cuba, and New York.
