So this is the first video I have done with a commentary, I felt it was a good step simply because a lot of games show little difference, like this one, and I think it may point out some things you may not notice during the video.

This is a side by side comparison of low settings with DX10 vs highest settings with DX11 and the high resolution skins package.

This was recorded at the lowest settings and lowest resolution for a widescreen and then at the highest settings with the resolution at the highest for a widescreen.

  • draw distance is the biggest difference

get sandbox 3 and place alot of trees

you wont be able to see em from a small distance on LOW

  • @nukeclears I appreciate your thoughts but I do the comparisons in the best ways I think will help people, in my opinion what I did was better to show people what the game experience will be like.

  • What is your framerate on ultra maxed out?

I am getting the same card as you

  • @wowimsupercheeseboy6 It was around 30fps with my single HD6950 2gb

  • @DasPiranhas Yea, I dont like making videos that are more into the campaign of the game, I find it to be a spoiler to people.

  • I like the video, but there actually is more of a difference later in the game, with the aliens. Also, the guns do have quite a difference, but the smaller details like the bolt etc. Good vid, just putting my 2 cents in. Oh and by the way, I can run this game at about 30-40 fps on

    intel core duo e8400 3.0ghz

    geforce 8800

    4 gb ddr3 ram

    note: this is on dx10

  • it looks great. Don't hate, appreciate.

  • @GamerGraphicsTV Thats odd, I get around 35-45 FPS on my Single 560 1Gb..

  • @evolvedape10000 There's a really big performance difference.

  • @jamievfx well, whatever.. I still think what I think..

  • @brizzlestick no thats why games have a low setting, so people with good rigs can push the settings up.

  • @GamerGraphicsTV you have your point

  • @evolvedape10000 I use now the setting "very high" and the "high res texture pack" and it's really smooth ( 50-60FPS )

  • @0Carljonson0 thanks
