My frame is okay, but it has department store components ^_-

Next time you buy a bike, get it from a LBS (local bike store) ; not at Wal=Mart and places like that :) Dicks or Sportchek is okay, but there only good bikes are from Iron Horse and some of the Diamondbacks.

How I broke the derailleur:

Did a really small bunny hop and the derailleur got stuck in my spokes, causing my wheel to lock than snapping my derailleur hangar LOL

The pedals are "Diamondback Sound 9/16 with replaceable traction pins"

This bike was designed for XC (cross country) yet it can't stay decent on the road, but ways more than a downhill Bike

  • yeah maybe if you would not waste money on peice of shit bikes with peice of shit components and do some research first...you would see that roadbikes dont come with bmx pedals, and next time look at at least sora components, if not 2300<-- both by shimano. faggot

    not the bikes fault yours...

  • @TheLaxballa0212 Keyboard Warrior ...

  • Lol those walmart bikes...make me laugh. You can lock up the tires once, but if you try to do it again they're like "Fuck you ill just keep going." Bassicly once those disc's heat up you can go ahead and loose all hope in stopping. Not only that but those pads sucks huge cock, they don't grab for shit. That's why i bought my 800 dollar Norco. Never got a better deal. Set the brakes up myself, and they don't touch an inch, but they're also really tight...i can lock the wheels up repeatedly. :)

  • got my bike from walmart.. rear pads wore out within 20 feet of braking. i put some good pads on there and everything works great for an amature rider like me.... unless your a pro dont spend the money on a good bike, because u will end up ruining it if u dont know how to maintain it. amatures( like me) are better off with cheap shit

  • As the saying goes is WHAT YOU PAY IS WHAT YOU GET.

  • Cool Video ! There are a (few) Big Box Store Bikes that are okay, for road and trail riding. But you had to be INSANE to think of going true Mountain Biking on one. LOL again hats off to your video editing !

  • My '08 Giant Rincon has spring shocks which will lose tension in very cold weather. Other than that, it's a great bike.

  • stop whining

  • i have bikes that are older than me with better components that what you can buy in the store. the best bikes aren't bought. they're built.

  • don't buy bikes from department stores unless it's a schwinn tourist. that's the only bike out of department stores that are worth any money. just make sure everything is tuned and nothing will fall apart. i already crashed and this bike still has a lot of life in it. other than this bike go to an LBS. all the other bikes i've used from big box stores are shit.

  • @TheLaxballa0212 shiamno doesnt make the components they slap a sticker on it and call it a shimano derailleur

  • What's the problem? I'm not getting it...

Did you ride it more than once? If so, it's YOUR FAULT!

This is one time use bike...

Shimano is a good brand, but big box stores are using 20 years old Shimano parts...

  • i bought a $70 bike in walmart in 2001..after just 2 days of use as commute bike the brake pads are about 40% worn out and pedals got loose..i retuned it and just bought a $90 used trek mountain bike .... used it for about 5 months without any problem ..i had to move to another place so i just gave it to a friend...in almost the same condition as when i bought it ...except for the brake pads and tire wear of course
