This guitar looks so much better now. Lots of sanding, dinging, muriatic acid, salt water, and fun. Enjoy Joe Satriani : Flying in a Blue Dream.

  • Sweet looking guitar there, i want to relic my squier 97 tele, the coat is very thick on mine.

  • Thanks, It took me 20 years of playing to get a tele. I wish I would have got one sooner. Good luck with your relicing.

  • Then neck is screaming: "SHIM ME IN THE NECK POCKET!!!"

  • @bluegeneish how come you shouldnt relic squier basswood bodies?

  • The main mistake alot of people are making is trying to relic those cheaper basewood bodies and that is when the trouble begins!!! dont do the squires unless its an older one ,ash or alder wood is the best and dont go 2 crazy chipping away!!! less is better!

  • i really think you overdid it. It looks fake!

  • hey, what exactly does the saltwater do?

  • I started to chip away on my guitar and to my suprise the wood underneath is very light almost pine looking..lol

with my paint job being white it looks terrible, think i will sand all the paint off it. How do i go about this? any help people?
