I love Cake, but this is their best album by far. I don't like much of their newer stuff.

This song is about God, or a higher power if you don't like that word. Ancient Radiation (gives off waves), haunts dismembered constellations (in space), faintly glimmering radio station (gives off waves)... it goes on like this
"Flowers of flaming truths" are stars
"An old man sits collecting stamps" (this is god) "in a room all filled with chinese lamps" (in a room filled with stars, which resemble Chinese lamps)
It's obvious this is about God
