  • @SenseiDanIvan Most arts western / eastern share core concepts, it's hard not to really. Oddly, I studied for the real world applications, it's only now that I have the luxury to see the beauty that others always have.

    Blessings,

    David

  • @DavidCaines100 Hey David. Thank you very much for your kind words. I have always loved doing forms and studying the concepts behind them. I'm happy that your see it that way too :)

    Much regards.

    Ivan.

  • It's always fun to see forms like this and judge them against more modern arts like "Krav" which claim to have come up with the concept of "Bursting" (attacking while defending) , which we see at multiple points in this very short form, through out wing chun at at varied points in all traditional arts. well, everything comes from somewhere now doesn't it?

Nice form, good pace and focus.

    Peace,

    David

  • @chikaboo13 Que bien. Claro que se quien es el Sensei Willie. Lamentablemente nunca lo he conocido. Pero me alegra mucho que se este acercando a su decimo dan.

  • cool! i take hawaiian kenpo karate with Sensei willie hernandez in puerto rico. hes an 8th dan and is a direct student of cecil peoples who was bill ryusakis student

  • I'm pretty sure that is not a coincidence, as GM Bill Ryusaki trained Kajukenbo in his youth and is an honorary 10th dan in Kajukenbo. Thank you for your insight.

    Cheers to all Kenpo branches.

  • it looks like Kajukenbo form 4 minus the upward x block
