You have to have your object at least 5 feet in front of the green screen to get rid of the shadows. This is hard to do if you are in tight quarters. Like Snouter says, lighting and avoiding shadows is key.

Digital video definitely works better with green than blue. Then try to light the green material so there are no shadows.

what you doin' with no dvd burner? Somewhere in early 2007 after only a few months of Internet video making, my system became very sluggish until I started moving the old stuff to dvd's.

I actually have one, just am not using it efficiently at the moment. I did archive like 30 minutes of old stuff to it yesterday though. ;)
