my dad warmed up his volvo every morning like you said. kept up with oil changes. it lasted 475,000 miles. and it wouldve lasted longer if my brother hadn't inherited it and didn't take care of it.

He's right..I had an engine coolant leak and the engine got hot a few times because of it...I fixed where the leak was but the damage was done..a shortwhile later i had coolant leaks ALL OVER the car and even in the engine...RIP my car

Keeping a car for 500,000 miles sounds all well and good, but I would REALLY, REALLY have to love that car to keep one that long...I have owned many cars in my life, none have I loved that much. I will admit I would like to have some of the one's I once owned, but I think they would be in storage.
