I'm getting this same unit probably friday of this week. Returned my DNX7180 because of a misprint in the kenwood Manual saying the Ecoroute HD cable works with the 7180 IT DOES NOT!!! Anyway this DNX9980HD looks 10x better especially the ipod interface.

No lag? It seems to take about two seconds to load a new screen after a touch.. It's not horrible but I think that would still bug me.
