This band is DEAD! Get some soul guys. I can see about three people who actually move. I'm not suggesting that you turn every gig into a carnival but it would be nice to see your players actually feel ths music. The fact that your MD conducts EVERY beat probably doesn't help. You're a jazz orchestra. You have a rhythm section. THEY should be KEEPING time. The MD should only have to SET the time for the different sections. Keep on it!
