  • I agree - her work is great. I did see some of her work in a gallery and liked it a great deal.

I think by now Schorr should be more than comfortable within her career

seeing as she is well beyond emerging having had quite a few major international

shows & publications. It also seems that you are viewing her work on a purely

subjective level, why would a less intrusive B&W image work better in Schorr's

project? The flash is obviously used because there isn't enough natural light to be

able to use an appropriate shutter speed to freeze the subjects in motion....

  • Interesting work. Nice, but not great. Give her time for maturing in the art form and we'll see.

I do wonder why this type of subject is flash on camera rather than available light? Also, why not B&W? Both seem, to me..., to be more appropriate for this type of subject matter a well as less intrusive when she is on the mat and in the room working.

Keep it up, hope you have a long and satisfying career.

  • I saw her segment on Art 21 and it really resonated with me. Her ideas about masculinity from a female perspective are unique and very interesting.

  • I love this woman, what she does is so interesting. I saw her in Art21 and I found her so interesting. I'd really like to see an exhibition of hers.

  • Great piece. Thanks for posting.
