i`d sure like to take one for a sail again, i dont know about those spinakers though, thats some thing new.

Spinnakers are only really on the UK and a couple of German boats. The rest of the world is either in the one design Nethercott or sailing under the new rules (since 2008) which are a box rule development (like the IC was prior to the Nethercott hull but with an all up minimum weight of 50kg).

i remember 15-20 years ago the guy that built my boat (Eric Chase) was playing around with a spinnaker on his boat,
