  • Not sure... I just do what works for me. As they say, there's no right way to knit!

  • For both knit and purl stitches, I use the back leg if the stitch below is a knit stitch, and the front leg if the stitch below is a purl stitch. If you have other questions, just let me know.

  • I fix the twist when I purl - or knit for that matter. Whatever stitch I come to, I automatically untwist it if it is twisted.

  • Isn't combined knitting about knitting in the back loop and purling in the front loop of the stitches ?

  • do you always use the back leg of the stitch to knit and purl in?
