When she was a young child she dreamed of marrying her one and only and she thought they would live together and be happy forever, but when she got married and had kids, they argued every day, until one day he started to abuse her. the song is about a girl they met who was abused by her boy friend and tried to kill herself. She poured gasoline on herself and lit herself on fire. She said that she prayed for the first time, and said " God if your real, take my pain away" and she went into a coma. When she came out of it though, she knew that God was real. :)
