Ironically, Jimmy Cliff did the other song Vietnam and to see this song in the context of this video, I am reminded of the pain of the hard to road to travel.....big up to those who've served in the last decade....may it end soon.

wow, as much as i sometimes question the intent of the governments reasons for our military machine, beautiful work, and INCREDIBLE song.. very well placed.. too many haters dont recognize the sacrifice many put o the line to try and make the world a better place.

i heard it too on pacquiao-cotto 24/7, i was thinking the vocal is somewhat familiar, ohh its jimmy cliff... the song is perfect on the scene as cotto doing his footwork exercise... hard road to travel

Jimmy cliff as far as I know is strictly anti-military, Talks about about peace, love and togetherness over and over! Even has a song praising peace protestors! The hard road to travel is not the military-stop serving Governments and their agenda's and live/break free form their imposed power over you! The hard road is peace, love, togetherness and finding ways around the system that he's talking about! Peace & Love-Jim
