AVRI Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Serpentarium

The groundbreaking ceremony marking the start of AVRI's construction on the serpentarium. In Sri Lanka, it is tradition to begin projects at the auspicious time, for the project's success. These are long-standing traditions that are part of the religo-cultural foundation of the people. The village headman performs the chant. We were honored to be able to show our respect by adhering to these practices. The video shows the land where the serpentarium is built and the surrounding area.
