Why not just run a 125gn broadhead?

Continued.... I did like the spine testing. What was your measurement, was it what was claimed, was it consistent from arrow to arrow?
-
Very good. I would suggest checking the FOC % as you normally would and see if there was a difference between the 2, weight wise, without the HIT system. I also would have to agree with the thin balance point and not a finger. It looked like it was wanting to tip forward on your finger. I dont disagree that there may be some misguidance, but if you are going to claim it where it can be publicly scene, you may want to be a little more diligent in your test procedures.

continued. as far as the tests are concered they were absulutly correct . again his articles on arrow tuning are superb . if you have read anything about tuning arrows especialy x10s then there is a very high chance it has came from him. i can only assume that he used the easton firstly because its the most popular arrow used .
i understand how u would think that though with so many pro shooters writting what there sponsors want to here. you can trust what he and ultimate archer say 100 %

Loomis 77 i here what your saying but let me just say that John Dudley is probably the best in the world when it comes to the technical side of archery . he is famous all over the world for his articles on everything to do with compound bow setup . as well as being a world class shooter in both target and field.

Shooting two different types of arrows from the one bow will hardly give definite results either. Unless the bow is tuned to each type of arrow...which this bow was not. Should be using a hooter shooter (or similar) to conduct these tests too. But you are probably only doing what your Easton sponsors are asking you to do.

I have never met you, I dont know you, I have never even heard of you. But after watching that clip, all I got was you love Easton. I dont shoot Carbon Express, and I am not saying what they claim is true. But that looked more like an Easton plug then anything else.
Your tests were a little...ok, a lot futile! Balancing an arrow on your finger proves nothing. Find the true balance point, not the balance finger width range.

They are probably conducting their tests with shafts only. No knocks... Take the knock and collar off...
Thanks for the comments! More than anything the video should make you stop and think about what their claims are and if they are true. Maximas are great arrows and will definitely hold their own against any of the others on the market, but are they better and does their claim hold up to testing. I would love to see another video from CX explaining their side.
