  • @indoprince3 Damn! I was in the Netherlands this summer. If I had known about you, I would have dropped by and "sampled your wares"! Well, good luck in your practice, and feel free to drop me a line if you're ever in Norway, maybe we could set up a friendly "sharing session"!

  • @piaten Well skill does say more then words. What I can tell you is that our skill is good for sure if I could only show you then you'll see the difference but unfortunately..

  • @indoprince3 I remember reading an interview with one of the De Thouars brothers (dont remember which one, maybe Vic), where he stated that they are the only ones teachin Serak from a this particular lineage, hence the trademarking and stuff. However, he did acknowledge that there are also other legitimate lineages of Serak. Aside from that, I dont know who trained with whom. Anyway, to me skill speaks louder than words or lineage!

  • Mr Simonet and others trained with Victor de Thouar and maybe his brother.. Only thing is they trained only two weeks with their uncles de Vries who are fierce Serak fighters.. So they have no no knowledge of Serak maybe very little in comparison of someone who have learned the real deal and who is really accepted a student of Pak de Vries and followed the training completely.. I know that certain someone and I can tell everyone that what you see on the net is far way different and incorrect.

  • Very nice, when you were talking about the reasoning behind the palm-up strike it opened my eyes to a few things.

  • nice vid, but dont you think that a 3:50 min, of intro is just too long??... yet great forms.

  • When he stands, he's pretty strong, but unstable when he start to move around on his feet. I don't mean any disrespect, just telling what I think I am seeing

  • his handwork is pretty good, but his legwork isn't

  • admit it, you like pa willem and steve gartin and chas clements

  • ;-) I meant Marcelo.
