A pitstop from the Vitaphone Racing Maserati MC12 during the FIA GT Championship at Circuit Zolder 19/10/2008.

Vitaphone Racing is a German racing team who participate in the FIA GT. They have successfully raced the Maserati MC12 GT1 since 2005. The team consists of 32 people and is led by Rafael Calafell. Their chief drivers are Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini.

  • @Tags88mustang Yes, that is exactly what it is. IZOD IndyCar Series teams use an air jack as well. F1 teams would use it but it adds weight to the car.

  • @jitterball i speculate that there are jack stands that use compressed air, ive seen it in gt 1 & 2 cars in AMLS the connect a compressed air hose to a port located on the top or side of the car and it pressures the jacks then when their done they disconnect the hose and that release the pressure.... i think

  • How do they lift the car at tire change?!
