@CTFxC you have probably been corrected a million times but as an amateur WW2 historian i have to make sure you know the history of that statue. that statue is based on a picture taken on V-J day, August 14, 1945. The sailor grabbed a random girl and kissed her. The two of them then went there separate ways and never saw each other again. in fact nobody even know who the girl was until about five years ago. there now you know the history behind that statue.
