Quit whining about all the pic you produce. who said pro photography was easy? there's not a program around that will make shooting and editing that many photos easy. some people acknowledge that and look for a program that produces excellent results in a reasonable amount of time.
Very good explanation. It seems Capture One 5 is very suitable for shootings for dealing with a limited number of single subjects. But go out for a day's shooting along the road! You return with a multiple subjects shooting ( between 200 en 500 pictures), all need their own IPTC and their own corrections. That is a nightmare for a professional photographer.
This is nice if you have Capture One Pro but useless if you only have Capture One as many of the useful features highlighted are only available in the 'pro' version.
Good exposition, though you would need to see this ten times to begin to get to grips with the innumerable alternatives: great if you need to work like Peter E, but harder if your workflow is different. No one else has said that it was going to be easy, and so his remark that it is easy and intuitive is well past the mark. But it is a really great programme, especially for special shoots.
Powerful, yes. Easy and intuitive certainly not. Very difficult to get to grips with but once you've done it, it's very good. (And a documentation that is somewhat lacking in detail...)
As always, when Capture One shows their software, the folder they browse through contains very few images. Try to go through 1000 or more images in a folder with Capture One.
Editing is the time killer, NOT color correcting.
And shooting a LOT of images over one or two busy days is just normal for pro photographers, not an exception.
Congratulation!

Probably one of the better explained C5 Pro lessons I've seen.
