  • I squat deep as well, been doing it for 10+ years and my knees are fine. Could it be that you just don't know what you're talking about?

  • full ROM squats cause all the muscles used in the squat to develop proportionately, they also strengthen the knee ligaments. Parallel squats put more pressure on your knees. If you consistently do full ROM squats you will have stronger and healthier joints AND perform better than someone who did parallel squats.

  • i hate it when people unrack like that.

  • that's how you do a real squat im tired of all these bitches doing a 1/4 and claiming a max!!!! you did about a 125% to me!

  • wow. good ankle flexibility!!!! very nice squat

  • im a person with abysmal flexibility. after doing full squats for a couple weeks, at first my ankle and shoulder joints were getting sore and painful. but now they dont hurst as much anymore.

  • omg what did u do with your ankles :) very flexible

  • @Zoidypoo89 true, if you are trying to go bellow parallel its impossible to have your knees behind your toes, but then again i find that every trainer that spews out this BS usually doesn't squat bellow parallel and misinforms their clients to do the same

  • @Kryptsanies read the video description, its to warm up the joints and stretch them out...

  • i like to do this with an empty bar before a leg workout to get some synovial fluid rushing into my joints and hips.

  • @m1kasd How about parallel low bar squats. I know it changes the back and hip angle but is it always Parallel = bad regardless of bar position?

  • HOW?! I envy your flexibility...
