Skegness RNLI all-weather lifeboat the Lincolnshire Poacher launched at 0441hrs on Friday 28th August 2009 to the broken down fishing vessel Fruitful Harvest, 32 miles north east of Skegness near the Outer Dowsing Channel.
The lifeboat took the vessel in tow towards Grimsby, with the Humber lifeboat taking over at 9am so Skegness lifeboat could return to station.
It seems these days the RNLI is like the RAC,why the other fishing boat can not help ,and let the service save lifes and keep the costs down. Keep up the good work
