Well, I've been working on this for almost a week now, and I thought I'd make a video showing my progress. It's got map loading, walking, map scrolling, NPCs with full collision detecting, ground items, an item system, the start menu, animated tiles, and a dialogue system. It is no where near finished, but I thought it was time for a video.

Note: This game was programmed completely by me. I used the DirectX SDK from August, 2007. This means I did not use XNA, SlimDX, or any other library, so it was created basically from scratch. The tilesets were grabbed/ripped from the ROM by me, and most of the images I ripped myself.
