@TheOzzy94 stupid, you can't see it on a radar. thats why it calls stealth.
-

Wouldn't want to be on that thing in a fire. Carbon fiber and vinyl over PVC core.

It looks like a very fragile plastic toy.

The 58mm mk 3 has programmable rounds , and the mk3 model is implemented on all swedish guns since 2006 so it can fire 300 shells a minute , it has perimetrical electronic defence wich is operatioanl on all vessels currently, which makes it missile invisible, and in war they remove the now fitted cap on teh sides wich gives it a radar signal for peaceful use. And no, they are equipped with robots that work, but not all of them as these have peace colors..
I dont think that they would participate in a FOST exercise in GB if the ship didnt work ok. They are over there as we speak.

@chris38721 and they've had a series of problems with them all of this week and last week, i have a new channel PlymmarineWatch, it has all the latest video's from the past few weeks, including the visbys carrying out weapons checks as they go out, if you want a link check out my subscriptions

this ship is a interesting design but from what i have read this ship has been plagued by problems and the only weapon that works on it is the gun. the The Hamina class the Finnish ship seems to be a better ship based on the fact it has surface to air and anti ship missiles

@cksteele thanks for the comment, i haven't looked at the finnish ships before but i'll check them out, sound interesting. i wasn't aware they were having issues with this class of ship. i've started a channel up just for shipping, i've got more clips of the visby's plus a load of other stuff, feel free to check it out, if you would like the link just let me know

@muppetandsmurf yeah the problems from what i have read have been with weapons systems/packages for the ship and budget cuts on the program has taken alot of teeth outta a very formidable ship design

@cksteele now that doesn't suprise me, cuts ruin the best things. shame to hear, could be such an amazing design with the right funding and backing. my other channel is called PlymMaritineWatch, check out my subscriptions to find it, we're uploading a video from yesterday of the visbys, they're looking rough, not half as pristine as they used to be.
