  • How do you get the baits far enough out? I'm thinking of using a remote controlled RC boat to set my lines but that's expensive and the saltwater will tear it up.

  • its not a world first, Embling caught a 240lb'er there a couple years ago and got footage of it

  • @johndtuttle Which is why LBG Marlin is not commonly practiced, high mortality rates. 99% of billfish caught in Australia are tagged and released, developing Australia's Gamefish tagging program into the largest and most successful tagging program in the world.

Australia's recreational fisherman have become possibly some of the world's largest supporter's of sustainable fishing. You see one fish killed and cry about it, but you don't see the hundreds more that go back healthy. It's a fact mate

  • @jordythebassist

Doesn't make it right if you have any long term interest in the fishery.

  • @johndtuttle Those fish weren't under-sized according to Australian fishing regulations

  • catch and release dude....wouldnt be so rare if you guys actually released a couple....

  • Let them fight another day FFS!

  • try catch and release of those undersized fish next time.

  • Very Nice, but why keep those small male black marlin?

If catching them from shore is rare enough as it is, why kill the few you do catch?

    Respect the fish man.

  • Awsome dvd. Cant wait for a new one to come out.
