I love electric cars etc and have my own 500mpg electric bicycle I made. But they never mention how long batteries last if they are lead acid like these ones will be. I keep seeing these at 4000 miles for sale with knackered batteries that are around £2k to replace minimum. So that nice low £400 quid electricity bill over 4000 miles just turned into £2400. After testing lifepo4 myself It seems short life cell replacements is now over and am waiting for the prices to fall of lithium :)

@omendark123 I plan to get one, for cheap insurance, and free tax ! and enviroment stuff I need it if I am gonna go freelance to be honest.

@badman1220 Finally somebody who gets it, and in London City it is ideal as you cant get around with a big car anyway! I am just waiting until they make a better super mini, which is safer and has a range of 200-250 mies, which is as good quality as the nissan leaf. Then there is no reason not to buy an electric car as it has loads of advantages!

i would advice any of these cars as a second car, not the MAIN one, if u use it 4 shopping and short trips (we all do it) then it comes into it's own. remember no road tax, and dirt cheap insurance, so why not? btw u can pick a good second hand reva g-whiz 4 £2000!
