  • Is that not a super set your doing there? A "compund" exercise is and exercise that using different muscle. e.g bench press uses pecs, front delts and triceps. Squats uses quads, glutes, hamstrings and calves. What your doing there is an compund exercise then an isolation exercise so its really a superset.

  • A super set is doing 2 exercises back to back for different body parts. Ex. bench press and row. A compound set is doing 2 exercises back to back of the same muscle group.

  • I'm demonstrating how to do a compound set. I was going to fatigue with both sets. This is a bodybuilding technique that I have used with clients and myself. Its to build muscle, not to cut.

I agree with you. That program offered by the site:

    MusclesMaximizer.info

has not only started to give me some some shape

but also it is showing me the right nutrients and

foods that my body needs. So happy it worked for

    you also.

  • this is a super set.why have you put a video of bodybuilding on here when your physique is terrible and if your a personal trainer you do not no your stuff.joker!!!

Is compound setting done at the start of a routine or at the end?

  • Agreed with xelljon,

Also in terms of chest size- what is your BF%, because that will make or break our level of impression.

  • surly this will be more for toning than it will for bulking or can you do the same thing with lower reps and higher weight for bulking?

  • diz is not a super set...

  • dam.. I though that was called a superset. And also I thought that a compound exercise is the one you use a smaller muscle to assist the movement for a bigger muscle.

  • i have been told to train pecs that you must not use 90 degree angle of your elbows from your torso? you seem to be incorporating a lot of shoulder assistance to help you lift rather than putting the pressure on your pecs?
