@Bl4ckDmon ok i delete this steam.appid.txt but now when i connect to a lobby there is no one there -,- help someone ! i try to connect to a lobby with some people but no one is there !

Guys Every one (there is "Steam.appid.txt " is in your Left 4 dead folder (Installed). Delete it And Enjoy :) Thumbs Up

well...ive been having the same problem but instead
first i get into a game...then when i start playing...it says something like "lost connection" in small red letters on the top right corner of the screen
with a timer going down
can any1 help wats the problem?
and my connection to the browser and other games is gd
all of my l4d games (1,2) have this problem damn it

I had same problem tryed everything...deleting some files,putting commands in console and nothing will help u...So i called my net operaters and after they changed my router everything works just fine with no dcs

OK, one thing I noticed is that this happens more often when I join someone else's game/lobby than when I start the game myself. Could this problem be dependent on someone else's internet connection messing up? Any thoughts?

nope, this screen just comes up then i get disconnected...happened a couple of times yesterday...makes me nervous when trying to get those pesky achievements

They are updating the game. That is why the server has been bad lately.

sorry , i hit 'remove' rather than 'reply' anyway...I also use segerev on left 4 dead. see ya there (when they get their server issues worked out LOL)
