Agreed. Especial with the front air ride, and walking back axles. Also, the scraper has automatic ride control which engages every time the scraper is on the haul road. Amazing smooth.

there is a mass dirt company in my area that came up with this idea back in 2004 i what he did is cut 631 cat scrapers up used the buggys and discarded the tractor to build somthing like this they use cat D400 haul trucks and with the pans they designed they put a dolly axle on them so they can also be pulled by a dozer and not just a truck

it worked out very good for them they started out by building two of at first they liked them so much they built 4 or 5 more. Yes i do know the companies name it is Chief construction

I`ve heard roumers that this scraper will be a part of Moxys portfolio, but also with the dumper part "included". So you`ll have two machines in one. it takes approx 8 hours changing from scraper to dumper. This have to be perfect for minor contractors who can`t afford both a purposebuildt scraper and dumper.

K-Tec has two current model's, the K-Tec 1233 and 1243 ADT. Both these scrapers are compatible to be pulled by any ADT truck. We hope that ADT manufacturers realize the advantages to having one machine that can be a scraper power unit, or a material hauler. With many of the ADT truck designs, we are able to switch between scraper power unit or material hauler in a matter of hours. With Doosan purchasing Moxy, we will see what Doosan wants for there company's future.
