sorry they did more like 7 or 8 takes.

I love how he was actually drunk while doing this (in the extras on the dvd they said that he took a shot of whiskey before every take, and that they did over 20 takes). Just goes to show you how talented he truly was.

I watch this whenever I need a lift. And yes, he was drunk when they filmed this. Or at least he had had a lot to drink. If you total up all the drinks he had eight all together for this take. Now he probably weighed 140 soaking wet and I weigh much more than that and eight drinks for me = NO...MEMORY...OF...ANYTHING :) However his dancing is still brilliant and inspired. Long Live his memory and films!
