  • Sorry to ask you, but I want to buy an indian ringneck to me. Are they too loud? Its because I live in an apartment... Do you think that even aparating their wings they can fly away?

  • @TheRafield Yes they can be quite loud and i'm not sure what "aparating" the wings mean

  • @jmyz1991 they are so beautiful! is it ok to have a birdie alone, without a pair? and im planing to get a cockatiel or alexander parrot...which one do you think is better ? im a person who has very few hours to spend with the pets ..so what would you suggest me?....thanx in adv.

  • @nithishsorock Hi! Thanks for the kind words... I wouldn't recommend putting them in the same cage unless they were both young enough to learn to live with each other... An Alexander is a bit bigger that a Ringneck but not by much, just choose the one you prefer. Considering time to socialize with them, they need alot of time out of their cage preferably 6- 8 hours a day...Please make sure you are prepared to put in alot of time playing and talking to them...

  • If not possible, I would rather you get a finch which dont require alot of handling. Good Luck!

  • when did ur indian ringneck get the dark black on his neck

  • @leos4life21 About a year and a half to two

  • my ringneck hates my cockatiel any ideas to help me

  • @jmyz1991 - I think he meant "operating," that is, clipping.

Yes, outside wind can catch them. So don't take them outside; even a clipped-wing bird can fly away.

  • @jmyz1991 Quite is too much? Well... I want to have one on my apartment but I dont want people complaining about him. Do you think I can tame him so he doesnt make so much sound? And do you cut your ringnecks wings (so it cant fly too long)?

    Thanks alot!

  • @jmyz1991 I love him! Congratulations!

  • very nice. I have a 2 yr. male name of ( SID ) I think these are the greatest of the small birds.
