Working Commercial Structure Fire - Bridgewater Township, NJ - 11/01/09

During the early morning hours of November 1st, the Finderne Fire Department responded to an activated fire alarm at 215 Union Ave. in the Township of Bridgewater. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire showing from a 1 story commercial building known as Somerset OB-GYN. The fire was immediately upgraded to a 2nd Alarm bringing in departments from Bound Brook, Somerville, Manville, Elizabeth Avenue, Somerset, and South Bound Brook. NOTE: VIDEO WAS NOT FILMED BY ME. IT WAS PROVIDED BY THE FINDERNE FIRE DEPT. I SIMPLY EDITED THE VIDEO FOR PLAYBACK.

Cause of this Fire was Due to the New X-Ray Machine that was installed in place for the older one.

I heard the dispatch for this one, but I have no clue what channels Bridgewater and the surrounding towns operate on. So I was dissapointed. But as long as nobody got hurt, and everybody got out safe. Good job to all the towns and boroughs working on this one. Huge fire, glad nobody was seriously injured. Keep up the good work.
