"I'm pretty intimidated right now, Bill, I gotta tell ya..."

Bill Callahan appeared on Chicago's morning news program in 2002 to promote the Smog compilation 'Accumulation: None'. Bits of 'Feather By Feather', 'Cold Blooded Old Times' and most of 'River Guard' is performed with a small, awkward interview in the middle.

I may be blowing my rarity wad early with this one

  • This is WGN out of Chicago. I remember they, for some reason, would have these odd performances in the morning. I remember getting ready for school one day and seeing the Flaming LIps playing "Waiting for Superman" and my mother yelling, "What the fuck is this shit???!!!" NIce.

  • thumbs up for "blowing my rarity wad"

  • ha ha, on the scrolling news it says "windy".

  • Ah... I wish you had the rest of "feather by feather" up here. This is so great though. After seeing him live a few times I really think there's the channelling of Hank Williams going on.

  • @firewoman1975 awesome

  • Haha, "the lead singer of Smog." You could say that, yeah, orange-skinned news man. This is so weird. On the other hand, OMG RIVER GUARD YES! Pretty much the greatest song in the world.

  • Every woman he's ever known...

  • Bill only really makes sense when he's on the telly.

  • Awesome X
