A video interview with author David Weber covering his writing, how he came to write military science fiction, favorite authors, and that which lies beneath his writing.
He's a little bit egotistical but I've found by reading bio's that most "great" people have to have a healthy ego. They have to believe in themsleves to get done what they do/did get done. I don't believe in meeting my heros. They'd turn out to be human. Same here. I"m fluffy but I didn't want to see Mr. Weber fluffy. I've read and am still reading a lot of his material. I don't want him to be as human as I am! lol / "Death rides." Ironic as I'm reading about Ginger right now. . . Again.
Facinating, Mr. Webers points of view on his writing and in point, as in this segment, views of religion in the context of using it in a tale. Love the concreteness and ability of him to clearly state his views in it usage to further the story and or the charaters. Great to hear how he approaches his stories.
