@thegirl44 Keith was doing heroin in NYC. Keith was never happy and he never took care of himself. When John was out of the picture Keiths' health and looks really went to hell along with his ability to play the drums.
NYC is much healthier the same way it is cleaner compared to California.

@DasGoldenBoy Keith was on a track going down hill. So sad such a music majestic could fall. Breaks my heart. But I guess thats what happens to the greats? Jimmie Hendrix, Moon, Bonham, Jim Morison, Elvis.... ETC And too, my Fav, Richard Manuel from THE BAND.... I still feel them in their music every day. RIP my friends

It is so sad to see how much Keith declined in four or five years. He still looks like he did from when The Who recorded "Happy Jack." It's like Elvis from Aloha From Hawaii until his death. Barely five years for both men and the toll their lifestyles took on them.

I just realized the kid at 1:17 is Cousin Kevin from "Tommy,"!

That's what California does to people. Look at the shape Bowie was in when he was living there? In his own words, "I looked as though I were made of wax". I got out of there as soon as I was old enough that my parents couldn't drag me back across state lines. I have more friends gone, from both in and out of the industry, that I would have no problem with the whole state falling into the ocean if it would save any more grief.
If you want to rock go to NYC, much healthier.
