@gmartinz01 The Mk1 (which this is) used the smallblock V8. Only the MkII and MKIV used the 7 litre/427 engine.

@gmartinz01 yep, most GT40´s where running on 427 c.i engines, (7.0L), you can also see them in 302 (5.0) and 289(4.7) vertions.
