Yes it is. Eastside High School actually was at one point was an extremely prestigious school, and it did sink extremely low as shown in the movie and etc..

What Mr Clark is saying is, you can't let a bunch of spoiled apples, spoil it for the whole bunch. Especially when the good apples out weigh the spoiled apples. So you get rid of the spoiled apples. So they don't spoil the whole bunch. It makes sense. The bad students weren't going there to learn anyway. They were only disrupting the entire school system. It gave those who wanted to learn. A chance to succeed and that's exactly what they did and it was all thanks to Mr Clark.

This liberal interviewer cant grasp the fact that the liberal ways of doing things in the public school don't work and are an absolute failure. Things like teaching how to be nice to homosexuals, passing failing 3rd grade level kids on to 4th grade, undisciplined classes, mindlessly supporting teachers unions are a failure. There needs be hard and serious discipline in public schools now, and more people are starting to realize that.

If 50 Joe Clark's ran the public school system American education would be light years better than now.
