This is the BEST performance of Rach 3 since I ever heard.
I was very fortunate that I was here, Suntory Hall in Tokyo.
I worried that a piano might break by Bronfman :).
at the finish of this performance, all audience was excited extremely.
Bronfman played 2 encore pieces, Chopin's "Revolutionaly" etude and sonata C-minor by D.Scarlatti .

One of the great performances of all time. By orchestra, conductor and especially Yefim Bronfman. I've compared this 3rd many times with the so called 'greatest 3rd of Rach' from Argerich, but her performance is, allthough technical proper, very shallow in drama and effect.

they are trying to keep pace with him... not being critical cos his was written to be impossible to play, so hands together to him, but there are better performances than this
