Testing ContourHD 1080p

As my old 46kam setup went broke I began looking for alternatives. The 46kam setup has always been quite difficult as you would have to connect mic, cam, power and the recorder itself.

So as I was looking around I found the Contour and GoPro.

The GoPro gets a lot of positive feedback but I wasn't too fond about the shape as I couldn't imagine where to place it because of this.
The Contour has a similar shape as the 46kam which means bulletcam style though it has an extra attachment for the internal battery etc.

This is the first run with the new camera and I am very pleased so far with the performance of the unit.

I used the internal mic for this video. The speed isn't that great so thats why there's nearly no wind noise.

I've been to some trackdays and the wind noise is indeed there. So i've been thinking about doing the external mic mod. This camera needs it badly.

Also been having problems with it only being able to record 2-5 mins at a time. Apparently it was the battery which was loose in the holder...

Nice vid kawi,did u run an external mic?,seems very little if any wind noise.
