No Angels To Hold You (2003 Demo)
Lindsay - Vocals
Isaac - Electro-Acoustic Guitars
Isaac: "This one was written in November 2001. An interesting thing about it is that for the first time Lindsay contributed with
guitar harmonies, instead of just lyrics and melodies. In Yellow Fields and Rainy Days, I alone took care of the harmonies and the
structure of the song. The new experience brought an unusual structure and chord chaining, not based only on the harmonic field
as in the previous compositions. In this case, my work was to improve the composition, adding new harmonic and melodic textures.
The vocal arrangement created by Lindy is also a strong point of it. The current recording that is available is the second demo of the
song that was recorded at home using a computer in 2003."

Lyrics:
No Angels To Hold You
(Lindsay & Isaac)
Today I'm deeply sad, my heart is empty 'cos we've lost you
You've gone so suddenly
I broke down and cried, though my tears touch the ground
It's hard to me believe that you're not here
I remember those times we used to spend together
Just friends under the sun, you were so young
Suddenly your life was taken in a stupid moment
Oh, your breath just went away
You fell down, is sad believe that you're gone
Why did it happen? I'm not sure
Dear son (he said), dear son I'm sorry I've made mistakes
I'm just a man who wouldn't make the same
Dear son, I can't believe in what I see I lost your smile
Just can't explain how I miss you
I wish I could be down there and hold you in my arms
And now my nights are weird lonely and sad
My pillow and my face are wet I cry but my tears could never bring you back...to me
How it hurts to say goodbye.
Issac's guitar playing cannot be overlooked!
Love the songs, and i'd like to add that it's not just Lindsay's voice and the writing that makes this duet sound so good.
Isaac plays an amazing guitar! The musical beauty achieved here wouldn't be without both Lindsay & Isaac~
:) I Love you both!

It was a wonderful surprise to find the songs of Lindsay and Isaac.
Thier music is delightfully reminiscant of The Sundays, which is something I never thought i'd hear. What a pleasure!
I didn't think anyone could come close to Harriet Wheeler,.... until now. Just beautiful!
