Hi I have a question that hopefully someone can answer???

Why sometimes do I see Amharic written as numbers in small boxes???? Like this

Is this Amharic??? Or a different Ethiopian dialect? I do not see it as often but whenever I see it Written sites claim it is Amharic too, I really love the look of it and I would love to know what it is called when you write Amharic in this way and how could I learn this???

The people who gave us path are realy great people. Interms of all aspect, Ethiopia is a land which shows to the rest of the world how to live in harmony, we are all type of color, all type of language, all type of culture, food, and music. But we stayed as Ethiopian. And I personaly wanted to keep this as it is. to develop from the past than complain about the past. I have great hope for my country.
