  • cmon, you cant compare irish against the arnis. Arnis is way too fast and powerful, perhaps you havent seen the real deal in arnis.

  • @ranierlags

    Who's comparing it?

  • Great stuff! Thanks!

  • @ranierlags the point is though, the Shillelagh is a walking stick too( due to changeing and adaptation to british laws) , where as the Arnis Baston is clearly not, you can walk round with a walking stick, if you tryed that with a baston, you would look a little stupid ;) both are very ancient arts, respect them both for what they are , the strengths and weaknesses - keep up the good work Greg :)

  • Ireland. Now officially more awesome then Japan.

  • wow this is a martial art wow i wish their was a class in Iowa

  • great stuff

  • This truly excellent training. I've been able to see how I was doing a couple of things wrong.

  • A Campbell Cane could be an interesting senior defense device. I was asked last year about designing a cane that could be functional, artistic and defensive. The latest design fits this description. I was involved in martial arts in the 60's..now I am way over 60. I would not want to be on the other end.

  • I live in Georgia, I'd love to open my own place like this here.

  • @ranierlags of course you can...but when ever you compare, you forget to include the temperament of the practitioner. i have studied many arts/styles, and believe they all have some merit... and some failings. the best form is the one to give the practitioner the confidence to have a free mind and perform their best. in other words, it is all personal.

recently i have gone back to TKD with my kids which was my 1st style and i thought redundant, i have dan in 3 others and now love TKD again.

  • I like Martial Arts.

  • I live in Buffalo NY just to far to really take lessons there. But if you're doing any seminars any time soon I and a few friends would love to travel up north to take them.
