This is a replay of my first sub-50 game. It makes me the 11th person ever to do sub-50 without flags, and the 2nd person from the US. I'm also the 10th person from the US to do sub-50 regardless of playstyle. Note that for historical reasons a minesweeper game has to be under 49.00 seconds to be considered sub-50; I actually had two 49.xx games before this.
Some statistics:
- 3BV: 138, with 14 openings (so, pretty easy, but not crazy)
- 3BV/s: 2.835
I am the only one who noticed it took this guy 487 seconds?

@emecollegevideos This version has an option to display extra decimals if they fit. You don't honestly think this mouse movement looks sped up 10 times, though, do you? lmao

What are those historical reasons?

@cardologist Basically, the original Minesweeper started at 1 and counted up (always displaying the time rounded down, plus one), and when clones were developed that started counting time in decimals, they kept that behavior for the counter at the top. So a 49.xx is considered a 50 (not sub50) and a 48.xx is considered a 49 (sub50). It's a bit weird, but it does ensure that the barrier has been consistent over time.
